Did you know that January is Slow Cooking month? We’re definitely not complaining—and neither should you! January may feel like one giant Monday, but we hope these sweet and savory slow cooker recipes will bring some warmth and comfort into your month. Check them out below and give them a test run!
Chicken and Biscuits. We’re kicking things off with full-on COMFORT. This chicken and biscuits recipe is sure to make the whole family feel warm and happy inside. Place the chicken in a 7-quart (6 ½ liters) slow cooker. Sprinkle on salt and pepper. Add the veggies and condensed soup, and mix thoroughly. Cook on high for 3 hours. Rip biscuit dough into small pieces, drop evenly over chicken, and enjoy!
Pizza Beans. This familiar dish with a twist is sure to become a new weekend tradition with the kids. The recipe includes all the best beans (even green!) with pizza sauce, parmesan cheese, and roasted pepper flakes to top it off.
