Fall has arrived, and we can’t wait to break out the sweaters and scarves to keep warm while we enjoy a busy season of events! From Halloween parties to community fairs, we’ve got a host of fun activities to celebrate with your family and friends!
Whitney Ranch Events – Residents Exclusive
October 12 – 13th – Parents’ Night Out
Enjoy a night on the town or even at home when you bring the kids to The Ranch House for Parents’ Night Out! Register for either Friday or Saturday night for your child to join in a fun evening of games and activities from 5 – 9 p.m. Admission is $5 per child.
October 20th – Kids Craft
Meet at The Ranch House at 1 p.m. for our a fall themed Kids Craft!
October 27th – Halloween Party
Get registered for our Boos & Booze Halloween Party for 21 and older residents at The Ranch House. From 6 – 10 p.m., we’ll be getting in the spooky spirit with a costume party and amazing food, drinks, and music! Admission is $10 per person.
Rocklin Events
October 2nd – 23rd – Cycling Skills
Rocklin’s Cycling Skills Clubs meet Tuesdays this month! Children will learn proper cycling skills for life-lasting safety. There will be fun games, competition, and positive reinforcement for confidence. International level of education from former Tour de France professional cyclist provided for ages 5-12. Cyclists will meet at parking lot next to the tennis courts at Johnson Springview Park at the start of each session. Course Fee: $100 due to instructor at first session each session is four classes. Via check or cash.
October 6th – Rocklin Mini Maker Faire
Rocklin is gathering a fantastic group of people who enjoy sharing what they can do! From engineers to artists and scientists to crafters, the Mini Maker Faire is the greatest show & tell event on Earth! Join the fun from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Sierra College. Admission is free!
October 28th – Voices of the Passed Cemetery Tour
The Rocklin Historical Society will offer a glimpse into the lives of historic Rocklin residents acted out by Society members! Three tour times (10 a.m., 11:30 a.m., and 1 p.m.) will be available on this one-day event at Rocklin Cemetery. Cost is $10 per person. You must be 16 or older. Tickets can be purchased HERE.
October 5th – 21st – Footloose
Enjoy the Rocklin Community Theatre presentation of ‘Footloose’ The Musical this month. Everybody can ‘cut loose’ and catch a foot-tapping show! Find tickets HERE.
Roseville Events
October 3rd – Wee One Wednesday
Meet and greet your local toddlers and make some new friends at Wee One Wednesday events every week at 10 a.m. at Vernon Street Town Square! Games and activities will be available for your wee one to enjoy. Parent participation is required, children must 5 years or younger. Admission is free.
October 6th – Bikefest
Roseville is instilling bike safety education in the youth of the community. Come by Mahogany Park with your bicycle and enjoy this FREE family safety event! Obstacle courses, riding demonstrations, safety checks, and more.
October 11th – Food Truck Mania
SactoMoFo is back in town for another Food Truck Mania at Vernon Street Town Square! Check out who will be serving what this month on the SactoMoFo.com page. Food trucks will be open from 5 – 8 p.m.!
October 13th – Comedy Night with Dat Phan
Head to downtown Roseville and get ready to laugh all night long with Dat Phan at the Roseville Theatre. This event is for patrons 18 and older. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and tickets are $20 if purchased by October 12.
October 19th – Friday Flicks
Cozy up under your blankets and pillows at Vernon Street Town Square for Friday Flicks night. This month, Roseville will be featuring Avengers: Infinity War. Admission is free and concessions are available for purchase. The movie begins at 6:30 p.m.
October 21st – Floating Pumpkin Patch
Ready for a change up on the traditional pumpkin selection process? Join the fun at Mike Shellito Indoor Pool and pick out your pumpkin in the pool! Decorating stations will be available along with bounce houses, games, and more. Admission is $7 or $10 with a pumpkin.
