Get ready to shed your winter coat because spring is here! It’s one of the best times of year because it’s all about getting a fresh start. It’s when trees get leaves again, flowers start to bloom, and the weather (our favorite part) begins to warm back up! Here are some fun things to do at home and around our Whitney Ranch community with your family. 

Get Outside and Take a Hike

Get outdoors and take a hike! Our wonderful Whitney Ranch community has five miles of pristine hiking trails where you can explore and fall in love with nature over and over again. 

Ride a Bike

Riding a bike is a great form of exercise and one of the best ways to see all that our wonderful community has to offer! Whether you’re biking alone or with your family, there’s nothing like the wind on your face on a gorgeous spring day. 

Enjoy an Outdoor Picnic

There’s nothing better than enjoying a beautiful picnic at one of our four parks! Grab a picnic basket, your favorite foods, and a blanket and spend the day soaking up the California sun. 

Plant Something

Spring is the perfect time to try out your green thumb! Have your kids pick out their favorite plant, whether it’s a flower, fruit, or vegetable and then get to work. Here are some fun TIPS and facts to get you started.

Let your kids’ imaginations run wild with an indoor treasure hunt! Create a set of clues for and hide an ultimate prize at the end! Here are some fun examples of how you can get started on your endless indoor fun. 

Get Organized

Have you ever heard of the KonMari Method™? It’s the perfect time to rummage through your house and get rid of the old, so you can make room for the new! Try making a fun game out of it with your kids like going skating for dust bunnies or having a sock-matching race.
