Can you smell it? Spring time is on the horizon! Flowers are starting to bloom and the weather is (finally) starting to warm up. There are so many fun things to do to celebrate this time of year including taking part in National Children’s Craft Day!

This March 14th holiday started out as an attempt to bring awareness of crafting to children. It has so many positive effects including helping to give children a sense of accomplishment as well as build their self-esteem. Crafts also act as a stress reducer in both children AND adults. 

So, grab your glue sticks and rolls of tape…and let’s get craftin’!

Popsicle Stick Handmade Flowers

Caterpillar Crafts

Insects and bugs galore! One of the great things about spring is that it’s the time of year where EVERYTHING blooms. THESE caterpillar crafts are a great way to teach and show your kids how caterpillars are anything but ordinary! The best part…?
