Whitney Ranch Events (Residents Only)

Tuesday, December 3 – Holiday Tree Lighting

Start celebrating the season with friends and neighbors at our tree lighting at The Ranch House! Enjoy some cookies and hot cocoa before the lighting at 7:00 p.m. Register HERE

Friday, December 6 – Holiday Mixer

There’s going to be a whole lot of holiday cheer (and ugly sweaters) at one of our most popular events of the year! This event is at capacity, sign up for the wait-list HERE

Sundays, December 8 and 29 – Kids Book Club

Saturday, December 14 – Santa Party

Santa’s the main event at The Ranch House! It will be a day of photos, crafts, treats, and more. This event is full, please sign up for the wait-list HERE

Friday, December 20 and Saturday, December 21 – Parents’ Night Out

Moms and Dads, enjoy a night out enjoying a holiday dinner or finish up your gift shopping! Both nights are full, however you may sign up for the wait-list HERE

Thursday, December 5 – Roseville Christmas Tree Lighting

Friday, December 6 – Sunday, December 8 – Jessup Music Presents: Celebrate Christmas

Make it a family date and get all gussied up for a performance of your favorite Christmas classics! Featuring Jessup Music’s University Choir and Orchestra, Jessup Concert Choir, Crossroads small group, and jazz band. Tickets HERE

Saturday, December 7 – Roseville Christmas Market

Shop small, shop local! Get some shopping done at the Christmas craft and gift market at the Roseville Veterans Halls from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Event details HERE

Saturday, December 7 – Rocklin Tree Lighting Festival

Bring the fam to Quarry Park for the lighting of the community tree! It wouldn’t be complete without food trucks, Santa, music, and hot cocoa, too! Deets HERE

Saturday, December 7 – Free First Saturdays at Sierra College Museum of Natural History

Sunday, December 22 – Santa Hustle

This fun race series includes a half-marathon, 5K, and kids’ run. The catch? Everyone dresses up as Santa! Get in the holiday spirit and burn some calories! Register HERE

Daily Through December – Flower Farm Christmas Tree Farm

December is delightful at the Flower Farm, with fresh-cut Christmas trees for purchase, hot cocoa, and a cafe and shop wonderfully decorated for the season. More HERE

Nightly Through December 24 – Old Sacramento Theatre of Lights

Come on down to the waterfront for a free show that’s a feast for the eyes! Featuring a live-action re-telling of ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas,’ this family-friendly performance features holiday lights, an appearance from Jack Frost, and the tree lighting by Santa. Showtimes HERE

Tuesday, December 3 – Messiah Sing-Along

The audience is the star of the show in this beloved annual sing-along with the Auburn Symphony. Details HERE

Sunday, December 1 – Loomis Christmas Market

Saturday, December 7 – Steampunk Victorian Holiday Faire

Saturday, December 7 – Festival of Lights Parade

Friday, December 13 – Holiday Swing with Maria Muldaur and John Jorgenson

Folk and blues singer Maria Muldair and guitarist John Jorgenson perform a jazzy interpretation of holiday classics and some little-known gems from the 1920s and 1930s. Tickets HERE
