July Events





The summer solstice is upon us and we’re ready for it with some great family-friendly events based around our Rocklin community! So grab your towel, sandals, sunscreen, and take a look at our events listed below.





Resident Only - Whitney Ranch Events

Thursday, July 5 - Banned Toy Time

Break out the water guns and beach balls! From 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. at The Ranch House pool, we’re inviting our residents to enjoy banned pool toys for one hour! We’ll be lifting the ban again on Thursday the 12th at the same time.


Saturday, July 7 - Pool Party!

Whitney Ranch residents are invited to our summer pool party at The Ranch House! We’ll be kicking off the summer season with some music, sweet treats, and a whole lot of fun in the sun!


Tuesday, July 10 - Ice Cream by the Pool

Get a taste of summer at The Ranch House during our Ice Cream by the Pool event from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. or while supplies last. We love the idea of soaking up the sun while staying totally cool! We’ll see you there.


Saturday, July 14 - Movie in the Pool

If you can’t tell, we love hanging out by the pool during the summer months! We’re at it again with our Movie in the Pool event starting at 8:30 p.m. at The Ranch House! This month we’ll be watching Ghostbusters.


Tuesday, July 24 - Kids Craft by the Pool

We’re getting crafty! Join us from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. by the pool for a fun craft session for Whitney Ranch youngsters.


Friday - Saturday, July 27 - 28 - Parents Night Out

Parents need a summer vacation too! Drop the kids off at The Ranch House from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Friday or Saturday and enjoy a kid-free evening! Your child will be having a blast with snacks, crafts, games, and more. Register here for either Friday or Saturday.


Monday - Tuesday, July 30 - 31 - Intellibricks

Intellibricks is returning to The Ranch House from July 30th through August 3rd! Give your little engineer a place to thrive at this robotics and STEM enrichment-focused program for kids. This year’s Lego-themed program will include robot building for ages 5 to 9 and stop motion animation projects for ages 8 to 12. Register on our website today!

Rocklin Events

Friday, July 13 - Gather: Movies in the Park

Gather is hosting their third movie night, this time at Kathy Lund Park featuring Peter Rabbit at dusk. The event will begin at 5:00 p.m. and food and drinks will be available for purchase. The movie is free to all patrons, so bring the whole family down for this community event!


Saturday - Sunday, June 30 - July 1 - Celebrate America

It’s the 10th anniversary of Rocklin’s Celebrate America community event at Twin Oaks Park! On June 30th and July 1st, Rocklin and neighboring towns will come together to celebrate our great American nation with fireworks, patriotic music, a tribute to our brave troops, and moving reenactments of our country’s proud history. Gates open at 4:00 p.m. and admission is free!


Roseville Events

Wednesday, July 4 - Run Crime Out of Roseville 5/10K Run/Walk

Join the Roseville Crime Stoppers at Royer Park at 7:20 a.m. for a 10K or 7:45 a.m. for a 5K run/walk this 4th of July! Help Roseville raise funds for specialized equipment for local law enforcement, youth scholarships, and community law enforcement education.


Wednesday, July 4 - 4th of July Parade

Come out for the return of the Roseville Independence Day Parade! The parade begins at 9:00 a.m. at the intersection of Riverside/Vernon/Douglas and runs along Vernon Street, turns right on Lincoln Street, and turns right onto Park Drive. Be sure to arrive early to get your preferred viewing spot.


Wednesday, July 4 - Royer Park Activities

Stay for the fun after the parade at Royer Park from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Food vendors and music by the Capitol Pops Concert Band are just some of the festivities planned!


July - Big Trucks Summer

Roseville is inviting kids to take the wheel of their big utility trucks! Each Big Trucks Summer event will have a story time, truck demonstration, games, and activities for all ages. No registration is necessary, this is a free, family-fun event! Here are the dates for this series:


July 10 - Electric Line Trucks at Roseville Utility Exploration Center

July 17 - Pipescope and Vactor Trucks at Roseville Utility and Exploration Center

July 24 - Vactor and Dump Trucks at Maidu Regional Park

July 31 - Garbage Trucks at Maidu Regional Park


Thursday, July 12 - Food Truck Mania

Enjoy SactoMoFo every month at Vernon Street Town Square. A variety of food trucks will be present from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. for this popular summer event series!


Friday, July 20 - Campfires

Listen to Native American stories and roast marshmallows around the campfire at the outdoor amphitheater at Maidu Museum and Historic Site. Gates open at 7:00 p.m. and the program begins promptly at 7:30 p.m. $5/person, $16/family of four. Under 2 are free!


Saturday, July 21 - Concerts in the Square

Concerts on the Square in Roseville continue with Michael Furlong's Tribute to Tom Petty. Come on down to Vernon Street Town Square to enjoy some tasty food truck grub, a refreshing beer garden, and great music! Gates open at 6:30 p.m. and the concert starts at 7:30 p.m. Free admission!
