Spring Cleaning can be a very daunting task. Either you love it or you hate it. We are here to help you find 10 new tricks for Spring Cleaning that will make your life 10 times easier! We know cleaning a whole house takes time and so does BuzzFeed, which is why they came up with this amazing planner to get you through your entire house! So start out by planning your days and marking them on a calendar to help you stay on track! We promise it’s smooth sailing from here on out.

  1. The Bedroom. The most important thing that people skip out on is cleaning their mattresses! Make sure you rotate your mattress every six months to keep it firm and comfortable. You should also vacuum your mattress! This will remove any dust and debris before you freshen it up by sprinkling ¼ cup of baking soda and a few drops of essential oils!

  1. The Kitchen. When is the last time you deep cleaned your cutting board? Most people think soap and water is enough… but the reality is, it’s not! 1 Lemon with a pinch of Kosher Salt will do the trick. Cut the lemon in half, rub it all over the board, pour some kosher salt on and let it sit for about 10-15 minutes, rub the lemon over the board again and rinse with water!

  1. The Bathrooms.Glass shower doors are always extremely difficult to clean. Seems like water spots just never go away! Get out that magic eraser and it will do just the trick! Clear glass doors!

  1. Entry Way.Most people never think of cleaning their baseboards. This can be done with a sponge, warm water, and some soap. Just use a clean towel to dry it off! You can also use the magic eraser for these as well! It works wonders on hard to get to areas!

  1. Living Room.Do you have wooden blinds that are difficult to clean? Grab a spatula, a rag, and a rubber band. Wrap the rag around the spatula and tie it on with a rubber band. It will fit perfectly between each slat of your blinds!

  1. Drawers.Make sure you clean out your drawers and get rid of any old clothes, socks, or undergarments that you may not need anymore. You can donate them or give them away, or even throw them out if they aren’t worthy of finding a new home! This will free up space for you to refold your clothes and garments and make room for new ones!

  1. Windows.Looking to clean out your window tracks? We know how difficult it is to do. Check out these great tips we found to clean those tracks with NO scrubbinghere!

  1. Closets. Most houses have several closets that hold many different things, so cleaning them out can be tricky! When cleaning out closets with clothing, get four separate boxes and label each one with “Keep”, “Donate or Sell”, “Recycle”, and “Trash”. This will help you organize while you clean! See the examplehere.

  1. The Fridge.Make sure you remove all drawers and shelves and clean the inside of the fridge, as well as the inside of each drawer and each shelf. Once they are back in place, you can purchase small containers and drawers to place inside of the fridge. You can label these with things such as “fruit” or “vegetables”, so everyone in the family can easily find what they are looking for.

  1. Appliances. There are many different appliances in the house that all take their own kind of cleaning. We found one that really stuck out to us because it is not something most people ever think to clean! The Toaster! Unplug the toaster and use a thin, soft brush to remove any crumbs stuck inside. You should also have a crumb tray… remove that and empty it out. Turn the toaster upside down and shake gently until the remaining crumbs fall out. Now your toaster is almost brand-new!
