PlacerGROWN Farmer’s Market every Saturday from 8:30am - 12:30pm: The PlacerGROWN Farmer’s Market on Saturday mornings takes place at RC Wiley at Blue Oaks Center (6636 Lonetree Boulevard in Rocklin) and runs from June through November 21. Stop by for the freshest local produce grown by passionate local farmers and artisans. Carrots, broccoli, arugula, eggs, grapefruit, and so much more is currently in season! 3rd of July Party on Friday, July 3: Grab your friends and head out to Old Sacramento to celebrate the night before Independence Day with the biggest 3rd of July Party in Sacramento! There will be comedy, live music and dancing plus a great view of the Sacramento River Cats post-game fireworks. Summer Concerts in the Park in Sacramento on July 10, July 17, and July 24: If you feel like a change of scenery, hop on over to Sacramento for an evening of concerts in the park. The Concerts in the Park series is a gathering place in the heart of the city and marks the official start to summer in Sacramento. The city’s longest-running, outdoor music festival has been around for over 20 years. Concerts in the Park attract more than 5,500 fans every Friday night during the three-month concert series. Evening in the Park on Friday, July 10, from 7:00 - 9:00pm: Looking for a concert experience close to home? Come to Johnson Springview Park (located at 5480 5th Street) on Friday night for an Evening in the Park. Enjoy the sounds of Two-Tone Steiny & The Cadillacs as they give us their best blues performances. Bring picnics, blankets, low lawn chairs, and the family for a fun night! Movie Matinee Saturday at the Library on Saturday, July 11, at 1:00pm: Call the Rocklin Public Library at (916) 624-3133 to learn about which movies are playing each Saturday in July. These movie events are fun for the whole family, and they’re free!   

 

Sacramento Taiko Dan Performance on Tuesday, July 14, from 11:00am - 12:00pm: Sacramento Taiko Dan is the premiere Japanese drumming ensemble in the greater Sacramento region, with performers who provide audiences with world-class entertainment, and they’re coming to the Rocklin Public Library for a special performance! Trivia Night on Friday, July 17, from 6:30 - 8:30pm: It's BACK! All the questions, all the answers, all the awesome prizes, all the amazing raffle items, great beers on tap from American River Brewing Company, pub style snacks, and all of the FUN of History Happy Hour is back for the second 'Trivia Night at the Sacramento Children’s Museum'! Ticket costs are $12 per non-member (one drink ticket included) and $10 per member (one drink ticket included).
